Preparing For Biology Class

I'm sure that most of you can hardly wait to get back to school. Ok, maybe I'm jumping the gun a little on my estimation, but September will be here soon enough. I don't know about you, but buying new school supplies is one of my favorite things to do.

There aren't any supplies that are officially required for biology class, but a three ring binder or a sturdy folder to house your papers would be beneficial. I also recommend stocking up on lined paper and some type of writing implement. I would stick with standard mechanical pencils myself, but you may purchase whatever suits your preference.

Staying organized is a tough task for many freshmen, so color coding folders or binders is always helpful.

Stay tuned for more tips for success.

  1. Back to school shopping has always been one of my favorite things! As a child, I could always be found standing in the school supply aisle while my family shopped. While some kids wanted a new toy on a trip to the store, I wanted a new mechanical pencil! Good thing I am a teacher and still get to do this shopping.

  2. Hi Miss. Do we really need a three ring binder?

  3. What a great idea to recommend colored folders as an organizational tactic. I may have to pass this suggestion on.

  6. I like your idea of color coding folders. Simply having a folder for each class can improve organization.
When I was in school I only used mechanical pencils (nerd alert?). I had a cool pencil case to keep a couple in. It could be clipped right into my binder. I don't see many kids carry those around anymore, though, especially in high school.
